Why We Chose Stone Paper for Note to Remember?

Everything has a cost.

But today, we understand that the true cost of a product goes far beyond its price tag. The environmental impact behind the products we use every day may ultimately cost far more than the product itself.

Traditional paper production requires enormous natural resources. Producing one ton of traditional paper can require approximately 24 trees and more than 26,000 liters of water. Over time, this creates a significant environmental burden on our planet.

As awareness around sustainability continues to grow, so does the need for smarter alternatives.

That’s why we chose stone paper for Note to Remember.

Unlike traditional paper, stone paper contains no wood pulp. It is primarily made from limestone powder, reducing the dependence on tree harvesting and significantly lowering water consumption during production.

But sustainability was not our only reason.

Stone paper is also:

  • Durable and tear resistant
  • Naturally water resistant
  • Smooth to write on
  • Naturally white without chlorine bleaching

This creates a notebook designed to last longer and reduce unnecessary replacement and waste over time.

At Note to Remember, we also wanted to combine the timeless feeling of writing with pen and paper with a more modern and practical approach. Our notebooks allow users to keep the natural writing experience they enjoy while also giving them the ability to digitize and store their notes through scanning.

Our goal was simple:
Create a notebook people can use for years—not weeks.

By reducing waste and creating a reusable long-lasting system, we hope to offer a more thoughtful alternative to traditional notebooks and the cycle of constant disposal that comes with them.

Because better productivity should not come at the expense of the environment.
